Moroccan Oil, owned by israeli Carmen Tal, obscures its manufacturing and origins. It poses as a Moroccan brand, however its products are all manufactured in israel. Moroccanoil faces boycott calls over alleged production in occupied Palestinian territories. Critics point to a lack of transparency regarding manufacturing locations and concern that it profits from regional resources without acknowledging israeli violations.
