Samsung has deep and multi-layered ties to israel:

• In 2019, Samsung acquired israeli camera company Corephotonics for $155 million.

• Its subsidiary HARMAN operates a major R&D center in Hod Hasharon, israel, and has acquired three israeli startups (iOnRoad, Red Bend, TowerSec).

• Samsung R&D Institute israel (SRIL) has been operating since 1997, working on AI, semiconductors, and image processing for Samsung's global products.

• Samsung products are officially distributed in israel through Suny Cellular (22 concept stores) and Newpan/NewPro.

• Additionally, Samsung has pre-installed IronSource's AppCloud software on some Galaxy models (A, M, F series), which raises privacy concerns and financially supports an israeli company.

Due to these ongoing and direct ties to the israeli economy and technology sector, Samsung and all its subsidiaries remain a boycott target.
