UBC’s June 2023 endowment investments include companies with ties to israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine. UBC’s Graduate Students 4 Palestine found that “In 2023, UBC invested an estimated $113,852,076 in israeli apartheid, settler-colonialism, and genocide.” UBC also has partnerships with israeli universities, including an exchange program with Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an institution at least partially based in territory that is deemed to be illegally occupied under international law.
