Toronto Metropolitan’s Lincoln Alexander School of Law denounced students who signed a letter criticizing israeli colonialism, condemning what they described as “sentiments of antisemitism and intolerance.” In contrast to the pro-Palestinian sentiments expressed by many students, the university’s Student Union has a history of supporting the Ottawa Protocol and the International Holocaust Remembrance Association (IHRA)’s definition of antisemitism, which wrongly conflates criticism of israel with antisemitism.
